FAQs
- I am having trouble opening the images.
- In the Successfully Registered image, some of the images have three channels. I am wondering what is the '03' stained for?
- this should be UAS:Synaptotagmin-HA stained using anti-HA. See Supplemental Experimental Procedures for further details.
- I have another question about the correspondence between the image files. For example, is the 'aTD-a_mask_SAEJ26-1.nrrd' in the ExtractedImages corresponding to the 'IS2_SAEJ26-1_01_warp_m0g80c8e1e-1x26r4.nrrd' and 'IS2_SAEJ26-1_02_warp_m0g80c8e1e-1x26r4.nrrd' in the Successfully Registered image, or SAEJ26 is the marker for the same images in all the folders on the disk?
- See filenames information for details. Basically
SAEJ26-1
refers to a single raw image that is then processed in different steps (see image processing overview).
- You've given me a bare hard drive. What should I buy to use it?
- You need a 3.5" SATA enclosure. You can buy them for <$40 (or just ask you IT dept). Make sure cables are included esp eSATA or FW. Best interface depends on your platform.
- Mac: Firewire 800 for good performance on all recent macs (400 for pre 2007? machine)
- PC: eSATA for excellent performance on new PCs
- USB2.0 slow, but very cheap and works on all machines
