Considering the co-ordinates of the image to have an origin in the top left, movements map as:

Image direction Direction on MP285 Label on hand controller
-y -x North
-x +y Right
Into specimen +z Down

As we have rotated the camera and flipped the scan direction in ScanImage, these directions are now the same on both the wide-field view in MicroManager on the iMac, and the view in ScanImage on the PC.

Switching from wide-field to 2-photon view

It necessary to move up ~85 microns, in Z, in order to view the same object in 2-photon mode as has been seen in wide-field mode. This corresponds to ~3/4 of a turn of the dial on the hand controller when in fine mode.
