What can I do with bridging?

Why Bridging

If you want to compare neural structures - from single neuron morphologies, microcircuits and projection patterns to whole brain regions - bridging registrations will be useful to you. They allow you to transfer image data from one data space, e.g. a sample brain where you did neural tracings, to different a different space, e.g. template brains in which gene expression patterns are available.

Thus, bridging registrations enable the comparison of data acquired in different brain spaces, and importantly, the comparison of data with different modalities.
